Home experiences are extensions of the sovereignty conversation that you can do at home in small groups or even by yourself.
In our first home experience, we hope to explore those subtle associations with the word “Hawaiian.” While there are no right or wrong answers for this exercise, there may be many significant insights. All you need is paper and things to write or paint with.
Hawai‘i’s history is a shared history: we have each participated in some aspects and have learned about other events from Hawai‘i’s past. The second home experience is intended to identify those parts of Hawai‘i’s history that people feel have made an impact on Hawai‘i today.
